There is an undeniable magic to The Lynmouth Retreat. When we first stepped through these doors as the new owners earlier this year, we didn’t just see a building; we saw a legacy. We knew immediately that we wanted to honor the history of this space while breathing fresh, modern life into its walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we are so excited to pull back the curtain on Phase One: The Ground Floor Transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe that the ground floor is the soul of any retreat\u2014it\u2019s where your day begins with a plan and ends with a glass of wine and a story. That\u2019s why we chose to focus our energy here first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal was a complete “visual reset.” We\u2019ve replaced the tired d\u00e9cor with a palette inspired by the very landscape that drew us to Lynton in the first place: Mountain & Clay.<\/strong> By bringing in earthy terracotta tones and deep forest greens, we\u2019ve bridged the gap between our interior and the stunning Exmoor views just outside the windows.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    While the ground floor is our “finishing piece” for 2026, it is only the start of our long-term vision for The Lynmouth Retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We are firm believers in doing things right rather than doing them fast. By focusing on the communal spaces this year, we\u2019ve created a beautiful foundation for our guests to enjoy immediately. Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to bring this same “Mountain & Clay” aesthetic to our rooms and suites in the years to come.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each floor will be a new chapter, and each room will eventually tell its own story of North Devon elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
